If you’ve been staring at the last three eggs you have in the fridge and are starting to worry about making that horrifying trip to the grocery store where you have to stand in that line that wraps around the building, have no fear. Here is a step by step guide on how to order your groceries online.
Step 1: Download your preferred store app on your mobile device or open their website on your computer browser.
Step 2: Make an account if you don’t have one already. You are going to click log in or register. Then fill out your information. You will enter your address and the preferred location from which you would like to order.
Step 3: You can now begin your order. Go through all the product tabs and select what you want to buy along with the quantity. Once you get to this step it’s important to remember that due to the current mayhem going on from COVID-19, demands for everyday essentials have risen so it is a possibility that you will not receive the brand you prefer and you may have to receive some substitutions or you may not receive a product at all (you will not be charged for the item if this happens.)
Step 4: After you fill your basket you can double check it to make sure you have everything you need and then proceed to checkout.
Step 5: When you proceed to checkout you will be able to fill out the payment information section and for this you will need a credit card or debit card.
Step 6: Once you have entered your information you can now choose how you would like to get your groceries. You can choose curbside/pick up or some locations even offer delivery. You will need to choose a day and pick up time for either option once you make the choice. Be aware that due to the high amount of orders, slots may be limited or full so it’s a good idea to plan your order ahead of time. However, if you find yourself needing an order and all the slots are full each day slot opens up at 12 a.m. So, once you have placed your order you are all done. Now all that is left to do is pick up your order and park in the curbside/pick up parking spaces and an employee will bring out and load the order into your car for you.
Extra Step: One extra step you can and should take once you have your groceries is when you get home, put them in one designated area and disinfect all of your items using disinfecting wipes. This will ensure that it is all sanitary and will lower the chances of coming into contact with germs.
Hopefully these steps will make your shopping ventures a lot easier and safer now that you will be able to avoid those lengthy lines.
