On Sept. 25 from 5-7 p.m. The College of Arts and Sciences hosted their 12th annual College Night Out at the quad near the fine arts building. There were various activities including team relay races, student organization booths, face paintings, dunk-a-professor, food, drinks, and other special activities. This years theme was Western Round-Up, so many participants grabbed their bots and cowboy hats and had a good ole’ time.
Various organizations participated in the event like PSI CHI, American Chemical Society, Sigma Tau Delta, Advertising Club, Press Club, Alpha Psi Omega, The South Texan, Sigma Delta Pi, Math Club, Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS), and many others.
Prizes were also given away throughout the event. The winner for Best Dressed Booth went to PSI CHI, and the winner for the Registered Club drawing was awarded to the American Chemical Society.
