The Cirkul water bottle with a twist of flavor
Cirkul was developed in 2015 by two former student athletes, Garrett and Andy, who were frustrated with the current beverage options. Andy would drink sugary sodas and sports drinks while Garrett opted for messy powders and drops. They knew there had to be a better way to get the delicious flavor they wanted and the healthy hydration they needed.
Cirkul’s innovative bottle allows you to flavor your water sip by sip with over 50 different flavor options. Go from drinking plain water, to drinking your new favorite beverage and back to drinking plain water with just a turn of the flavor dial. What makes this bottle different are its flavor formulas that have a variety of reasons to say yes.
Each flavor cartridge has no sugar, zero calories and no artificial colors. The flavors are categorized into three groups. LifeSip are the flavors enriched with vitamin B to fuel your everyday lifestyle. FitSip flavors have electrolytes to help keep you in the game or the gym. GoSip are the ones that have caffeine to help you when you’re feeling tired or running on empty.
My opinion about the innovation or bottle itself is that as a buyer you have a variety of options to purchase. Cirkul offers both plastic and stainless-steel bottles to suit your preferences. You can also choose between 12 oz. to 32 oz. I personally bought the 32 oz. plastic bottle. When I put cold water in the bottle it will stay cold for an hour to two. I believe the coldness lasts in the bottle for a good while.
On another note, I think the flavor options are the company’s biggest asset. The variety of flavors is creative. I feel that with Cirkul every person can find their match for a flavor choice. I personally like the lemonade, sweet tea and lemon flavors. The final aspect of the bottle is the amount of fills each bottle and flavor cartridge can hold.
According to the Cirkul website, “One Cirkul flavor cartridge (also called a “Sip”) flavors about 132 ounces of water, depending on the flavor dial setting. With a 22 oz. bottle that is about six fill ups. With a 12 oz. bottle that is about 11 fill ups. With a 32 oz. bottle that is about four fill ups.”
Overall, I believe this innovation on increasing each person’s water intake is creative and a new classic. From the bottle colors to the array of flavors, no one can say no to a Cirkul bottle. I can guarantee you will drink more water daily.
