Iceman brings heat

Drake drops livestream in AC warehouse

The rollout for Drakes’ ninth album has begun with confirmation of its speculated title plus a new song from this album which has already charted to number 1 on Apple Music.

Drake started his rollout with a live stream of him seemingly walking around an AC warehouse with stickers and posters from a Toronto based company named “Iceman.”

After about 15 minutes of Drake walking around the warehouse he sat in its break room and an old concert video played and that’s when Drakes’ latest hit song “What Did I Miss?” started playing.

The stream then led to Drake driving around Toronto in an Iceman AC company truck talking to fans playing another unreleased song and getting into a bit of a heated exchange with a fan which ended the stream.

The stream confirmed Drakes’ new album after theories had been speculating online because of some of the cryptic posts Drake has been making and a few files had been found that were titled “ICEMAN 2.0.”

“What Did I Miss” has the new Drake sound and vibe that he’s adapted and embraced since “For All the Dogs.”

Drake is already firing back at people on this song, too, with rumored shots at Lebron James, who seemingly turned his back on him during the Kendrick-Lamar beef.

The lyrics say, “I saw bro went to Pop Out with them, but been d*ck riding gang since ‘Headlines,’” which is talking about how James was dancing around with Lamar during a pop-up show in Los Angeles but had been a huge Drake supporter until the beef.

This new sound is proven exactly in those lyrics it feels as though Drake is directly talking to his audience almost which is a slower rap that he did a lot of on “Views.”

If this holds true, I think “Iceman” will be a tell-all album where Drake lets everyone know the truth behind everyone walking all over him.

With “What I Did I Miss” climbing to the top of the charts it just goes to show how good Drake can be when his back is against the wall.

Lastly, I just hope everyone who was dancing around to “Not Like Us” stays back and waits another two years for Lamar to start another beef to boost his sales while “Iceman” puts Drake even farther than Michael Jackson, The Beatles and Prince.
