At the end of a Verizon Superbowl commercial, Beyonce says, \u201cOkay, they ready. Drop the new music.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the advertisement, \u201c16 Carriages\u201d and \u201cTexas Hold \u2019Em\u201d were released on streaming platforms.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I personally find myself deeply stirred by the rhythm of the instruments and tone in her lyrics in \u201c16 Carriages.\u201d This track carries a softer more blues feeling that encapsulates her storytelling with a twangy hint to it. Through the song, she tells her journey about being \u201coverworked and overwhelmed\u201d yet still creating art, as stated in the lyrics, from age 16 when she started her breakthrough as an artist.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTexas Hold \u2019Em\u201d has the traditional lively country sound to it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The track shines a light on her hometown of Houston and the African American roots of country music.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first sound heard on the song is a strum of the banjo that makes you want to dance.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This song was a popular favorite in my playlists, the radio and the charts. \u201cTexas Hold \u2019Em\u201d hit No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
