ChopSticks has just opened up a location on campus located within the Student Union Building (SUB). This is not to be confused with \u201cChopstix\u201d on 14th Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ask anyone on campus if they\u2019ve heard of it and chances are you\u2019ll get a blank stare. The restaurant has taken the place of the old \u201cTaco Taco\u201d that was hidden in the Tejano room of the SUB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aramark Manager Mari Rojas has been with the company since the restaurant was a Taco Taco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTaco Taco was not doing to well…ChopSticks seems to be doing very well. The problem is not too many students know it\u2019s here. Hopefully that can change now that word is getting around,\u201d Rojas said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This restaurant offers another take on Asian cuisine while conveniently offering students quick access to such foods. Based on the good reviews averaging about four-out-of-five stars for other Asian style restaurants in town such as Spice Station, Asian Buffet, Chopstix and 88 Street Fusion, Asian restaurants are received well in Kingsville. Open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., ChopSticks is another addition to this melting pot of cultures called TAMUK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kinesiology student E.J. Tamez ate at Chopsticks not too long ago, and was a bit disappointed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
