Either way caffeine can be a life saver, but you can over-do it if you consume too much.

The average adult can consume an average of 400mg a day and not feel any adverse or negative side effects. Drinking 400 to 1,000mg of caffeine can lead to nausea, headaches, sleep difficulties or increased anxiety. People that have consumed up to and over 1,000mg of caffeine have reported having heart palpitations. So, know how much caffeine is in the things you drink every day and what would be the equivalent to 400mg.

A cup of regular coffee (eight fluid ounces) contains about 95mg of caffeine. Per day you could consume up to four eight-ounce cups and be fine. Although it is not recommended to chug all four cups back-to-back. So spread out your coffee consumption, maybe try two in the morning and one in the afternoon and another if needed to help you maintain your energy throughout the day.

Energy drinks have become quite popular around colleges. They taste like candy and promise to keep you awake, who wouldn’t love them? The brand and type of energy drink you use can determine the amount of caffeine you are receiving. A 16 ounce can of Bang Energy Drink contains 300mg of caffeine, and its 90ml Energy shot friend contains the equivalent amount.

Do not drink both together, decide which one works best for you but we do not recommend doing both or drinking two energy drinks a day. Although Bang energy drinks do not contain the average daily intake of caffeine, one per day should be plenty.

The average soda contains 34mg of caffeine. More than one a day for a small boost of energy is fine if you need it. It’s unlikely that you will consume too much caffeine off soda alone.

While one energy drink may not be enough caffeine for one, it’s too much for another. Caffeine effects everyone differently and it is important to avoid overdoing it and knowing your limit. One cup of coffee may be plenty for you, so do not try and consume more caffeine to fit in. Caffeinated drinks can help you through college, but they are not a substitute for sleep. Consume caffeine wisely and please do not over-do it.

Consuming caffeine safely and wisely As a college student you may or may not be consuming an unhealthy number of caffeinated beverages to stay awake…

[6

195
post-5072","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-entertainment
https://thesouthtexan.com/wp-content/litespeed/avatar/16b00811e260d2068b61907787d9e60e.jpg?ver=1778633080","0":null,"1":"","2":"","3":"","4":"","5":"","6":"","7":"","8":"
["GET
