{"id":5971,"date":"2021-09-14T18:54:19","date_gmt":"2021-09-14T18:54:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thesouthtexan.com\/?p=5971"},"modified":"2021-09-17T18:57:16","modified_gmt":"2021-09-17T18:57:16","slug":"theater-tryouts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thesouthtexan.com\/index.php\/2021\/09\/14\/theater-tryouts\/","title":{"rendered":"Theatre Tryouts"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your time to shine is now <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The theatre department at Texas A&amp;M University \u2013 Kingsville (TAMUK) and Alpha Psi Omega are holding auditions for two upcoming plays:<em> Aladdin and His Magical Flying Javelinas<\/em>, written by Dr. Patrick Faherty, and <em>Blackbird<\/em>, written by Robin Machuca.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tryouts will begin at 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 16, and Friday, Sept. 17, in the Little Theatre.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No experience is necessary, lines will be provided during auditions.
