Hit and runs are self explanatory: a car hits yours and leaves the scene, failing to provide any type of assistance or insurance information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All that\u2019s left at the scene is you – alone and in utter disbelief of what just occurred. You\u2019re left to contact the police in your area and explain what just happened with no evidence in your favor. Your only hope is that there\u2019s some sort of video footage that just so happened to catch the runner in the act. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To make matters worse, if the driver who hit you fled the scene quickly, then there\u2019s a slim to none chance you caught their license plate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now you\u2019re left with no evidence, no identification of the other person and no idea of what\u2019s to come. We\u2019ll save you the time. A long and stressful week is in your near future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Repeatedly contacting the police department, your insurance carrier, the other driver\u2019s insurance provider, and the collision center if your car was totaled, is not an ideal week for anybody with a life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you\u2019re a college student, it really becomes a game of phone tag – missing calls while you\u2019re in class and calling back only to realize it\u2019s too late and you have to try again tomorrow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fleeing the scene after you hit a car is probably one of the most cowardly things a driver can do. You don\u2019t know how you left the other driver. What if they got hurt? What if they\u2019re alone and freaking out? You\u2019ll be left with a guilty conscience, and you\u2019ll only be making things look worse for yourself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Save someone the trouble of having to track you down and waste hours a day contacting different people for something you could\u2019ve provided if you didn\u2019t immaturely leave the scene of the crime. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
