{"id":619,"date":"2018-09-05T22:33:18","date_gmt":"2018-09-05T22:33:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thesouthtexan.com\/?p=619"},"modified":"2018-09-06T02:25:51","modified_gmt":"2018-09-06T02:25:51","slug":"class-of-2022-to-be-officially-welcomed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thesouthtexan.com\/index.php\/2018\/09\/05\/class-of-2022-to-be-officially-welcomed\/","title":{"rendered":"Class of 2022 to be officially welcomed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Steinke Physical Education Center will be filled with music, laughter and camaraderie on Sept. 12 as the Class of 2022 is honored with the annual Freshman Convocation.<\/p>\n<p>The yearly tradition at Texas A&amp;M University-Kingsville brings the freshman class together in hopes of not just welcoming them to the campus, to but also inform them of university traditions such as the alma mater, the university regalia and the class ring.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cConvocation has become a tradition for our freshman population.
