{"id":7578,"date":"2022-09-11T06:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-09-11T06:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thesouthtexan.com\/?p=7578"},"modified":"2022-09-09T00:17:09","modified_gmt":"2022-09-09T00:17:09","slug":"friendly-reminder-covid-is-still-around","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thesouthtexan.com\/index.php\/2022\/09\/11\/friendly-reminder-covid-is-still-around\/","title":{"rendered":"Friendly reminder: COVID is still around"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As we all begin to settle into our routines for the Fall 2022 semester, let\u2019s not forget we are still experiencing the effects of March 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While it has been nearly three years since COVID-19 has drastically changed many people\u2019s lives and we are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel, we shouldn\u2019t forget to still remain vigilant and prevent the spread. This especially applies to those who choose to believe that the virus has magically disappeared forever, or to those who think their vaccination status makes them automatically immune.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s perfectly normal for us, as college students, to go out and party and have fun, but it should never be at the expense of our fellow peers\u2019 health.
