The Kingsville city employeers took part in making sure everything ran smoothly before, during and after the parade.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe put up the barricades to block the traffic for the parade, for everyone\u2019s safety here,\u201d City Employee Abel Mayorga said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants in the parade prepared to put smiles on the faces of families in attendance.Junior and Leasing Consultant for Javelina Stations Kaylee Silva said a lot of preparation went into the parade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe made candy bags, blew up balloons and of course, we decorated the car, once we were on site waiting for the parade to get started,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Kingsville community cheered as they received candy bags and waves from all of the parade participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSeeing the little kids\u2026they\u2019re all excited. It was really nice to see that we\u2019re putting a smile on their faces,\u201d Silva said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the parade, the community came together in celebration of homecoming.
