Considering the new Barbie movie coming out, many adults have gone and rewatched the old animated classic Barbie movies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following this trend, I also dug deep into my closet and found my old copies of my favorite classics, and after hours of sitting in my living room and a thousand bags of chips I was finally able to finish my small collection of Barbie movies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In total I watched 10 movies and out of those 10 only three of them really stood out to me and were enjoyable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Barbie as The Princess and the Pauper, Barbie and the Diamond Castle, and Barbie and the Fairy Secret were the ones that I enjoyed the most rewatching. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Growing up, Barbie as The Princess and the Pauper was one movie that was always playing in my house from a very young age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is a fun movie about a princess who gets kidnapped and a common girl who pretends to be her while they search for the real princess. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s a fast-paced movie for many younger kids and older alike. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Barbie and the Diamond Castle is about two best friends who find a girl who is trapped in a mirror. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As they hear her story more and more the two friends decide to venture out and help their new friend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The movie follows the challenges they must overcome together with the power of friendship and eventually find the diamond castle to save the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s a movie that became popular among early Barbie watchers because of the new textures and stories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finally, the last Barbie movie I watched was Barbie the Fairy Secret. Now this movie was my personal favorite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This movie is about Barbie herself and not her playing another role. It’s different from the rest and kind of cringy from time to time, but honestly, most of them are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It starts with Barbie in her own movie premiere, walking with Ken and her two fashion designer friends. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The story unfolds with a fairy princess who falls in love with Ken and is whisked away to another world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now Barbie and three friends are on their way to Gloss Angelis, the land of the fairies, to save Ken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I had a blast rewatching my childhood movies and honestly, I was reminded of so many fun times I had growing up, and so many years later, I am really excited to go watch the new live action Barbie movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you were a Barbie watcher in your younger days, I would definitely say to go watch the new movie.
