Anime adaptation exceeds expectations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Netflix premiered a new television series on Aug. 31 entitled \u201cOne Piece.\u201d This series is a live action adaptation of the widely popular \u201cOne Piece\u201d manga by legendary author Eiichiro Oda. Over the weekend, Netflix\u2019s \u201cOne Piece\u201d quickly became the number one television show on Netflix, breaking records of top concurrent viewership in 84 countries previously held by Netflix\u2019s hit series \u201cStranger Things\u201d and \u201cWednesday.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Netflix\u2019s \u201cOne Piece\u201d features Monkey D. Luffy and his crew embarking on an adventure to find the One Piece, a legendary treasure left behind by Gold Roger, the former King of the Pirates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to the \u201cOne Piece\u201d live action, Netflix has had a bad track record with producing faithful manga and anime adaptations to please its fans. However, \u201cOne Piece\u201d defies expectations with the sheer amount of passion involved in the creative process leading up to its release. You can clearly tell the showrunners and actors actually cared<\/a> about the source material and did their best to replicate it, even bringing Eiichiro Oda to supervise over the production. It is safe to say that Netflix\u2019s \u201cOne Piece\u201d live action is amongst the best live action anime adaptations ever and currently one of the best shows to watch right now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I strongly recommend Netflix\u2019s \u201cOne Piece\u201d to anyone who is craving to watch a fun and adventurous television show with over-the-top action and storytelling. The show is catered to a larger demographic rather than just fans of anime and manga, so you won’t feel left out or out of place if you are not a fan of those mediums. It is hilarious and goofy from start to finish but knows when to take itself seriously with its pivotal moments in the story. Overall, Netflix\u2019s \u201cOne Piece\u201d sets a new standard in the industry for future live action adaptations and gives both fans and new audiences a brand-new swashbuckling adventure that everyone can resonate with.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
