Recently, there\u2019s been a new term gracing our social media platforms, \u201cgirl\u2019s girl.\u201d Simply put, a girl’s girl is a woman who generally gets along well with other women, at least that\u2019s the best definition Google can give. But the question is what really is a girl\u2019s girl? What does it really mean to get along with other women and why is it important to be a girl\u2019s girl, especially in today\u2019s world?My personal opinion on what makes a girl\u2019s girl is pretty similar to Google\u2019s, but I think it goes a little deeper. A girl\u2019s girl is a woman who supports other women, in all aspects of life. In a sense, she would be your friend who is excited for the new apartment you moved into, or the coworker who helps you succeed in your job by helping you plan a large project, or even the girl you run into in the bathroom at the club who tells you that your makeup is pretty. Having positive relationships and interactions like these with other women in your life is extremely important, and it\u2019s crucial to find ways to support them in your own way as well. Today\u2019s world is scary to navigate as a woman, no matter what stage of life you\u2019re in. It\u2019s important to find other women in your life that uplift and support you and to be the woman other girls seek out for support.In short, to be a girl\u2019s girl is to be supportive, kind and compassionate. It\u2019s important, especially now, to be able to build positive and progressive relationships with women to just let each other know there is always someone there and to be there for.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
