The athletic department and the student athlete advisory committee (SAAC) hosted an eventful week in honor of Veterans and Military Appreciation Day. The week consistedof several events like reading to children living on the military base, having lunch with all members of the military, providing babysitting services for base families, hosting a intramural flag football game, and also dedicating the final Javelina home football game on Nov. 10 against UT Permian Basin to all military personnel.
