After only three months, Cassandra Wheeler was removed from her position as director of Career Services at TAMUK.
Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs G. Allen Rasmussen announced today that Henry Burgos will assume the duties of director of career services on top of his responsibilities as executive director of human resources.
“Our campus is looking at several changes in our organization and during this time, we will be looking at how career services would be most effective at helping our students with their current and future career aspirations,” Rasmussen wrote in a statement emailed to faculty, staff and students.
There have been three directors of Career Services this semester, including Wheeler and interims.
