Review: Drake’s new album is for all the dogs

Popular rapper releases another hit record

Drake’s 15th album titled “For All The Dogs” is a masterpiece to say the least. This studio album put the legendary Drake one hit song behind the generational talent Michael Jackson.  With ten amazing features from artists such as J. Cole, Teezo Touchdown, Bad Bunny, SZA, and the always-entertaining 21 Savage. Although the features on this album were outstanding, Drake’s solo songs such as “Virginia Beach”, “8am in Charlotte”, and “Polar Opposites”, were just as good as songs that had features on them proving how good of an album “For All the Dogs” really is. Although “For All the Dogs” isn’t as good as Drakes last album “Her Loss”  it is still a heavy-hitting high-quality album that is in contention for album of the year, right up there with Travis Scott’s “Utopia.” My personal favorite song off the album is “First Person Shooter” featuring J. Cole. “First Person Shooter” is a great example of two of the greatest artist in the industry coming together to make a hit song that will be listened to for years. Another great song off the album is “IDGAF” featuring Yeat Yeat, an up-and-coming artist hoping to give his career the boost it needs by working with Drake, who is arguably one of the greatest rappers of all time. I give “For All The Dogs” a 9/10 and highly suggest listening to it, if rap is a genre you are interested in then this album is most definitely the one for you.
