Why you should choose your roommates wisely

Attending college and moving out of your house can be tough, especially when you live with somebody you don’t understand or “vibe” with.

From personal experience my first semester has been great, because of  the fact that I am rooming with my childhood best friend who I am comfortable studying around and talking to.

A lot of people are assigned roommates that they may not be comfortable with and for some going to the library to study may not be a personal preference.

I have heard many bad experiences from people explaining the situations they have experienced with the people they live.

These occurrences can lead to unnecessary stress on top of the pressure that arises with trying to maintain good grades.

A poor living environment can cause even worse cases of homesickness which a lot of first-year students go through since it is the first time they are away from home.

Getting roomed with one of my best friends has helped me get through the semester with all As.

I have absolutely no stress when I am at my apartment with the freedom of being as loud as I want without having to worry about bothering someone.

Another great thing about living with my best friend is having the mutual understanding that our success is the main priority and if either one of us ever needs an opinion on something the other is right there.
