Review: Start your summer early

Songs to get you in the groove

While my Spotify account is full of various genres, there are definitely a few songs I can’t wait to add to my favorite playlist: Summer Nights.

Summer Nights are nostalgic, warm and restless.

My “Summer Nights” playlist includes songs that capture the moments you wish would never end.

Songs that have the ability to transport you to a slow montage of memories with specific people or at a distinct location, will always have a place in my heart.

Stephen Dawes has recently teased his unreleased song “Want me,” which is captures that moment perfectly.

If you listen to the 15 seconds teased and close your eyes, you can visualize fun adventures and form an inevitable smile.

As I anticipate the release of the full song; I have added a few more tracks to the playlist, such as “California Baby” by TWINSICK and BADVIBES.

They recently released their collaboration single, “California Baby,” which reminds me of the Summer of 2016.

With a twist of Mike Posner, Avicii and country this song is perfect for any student heading towards their last semesters in college “California Baby” reminds me of spontaneous road trips in a beat up Toyota Corolla with my best friends.

The majority of summer nights end in laughter, hand-surfing out of car windows and screaming lyrics to all of your favorite songs.“Home” by Good Neighbors reminds me of that very moment.

From sipping on gas station slushies to taking Polaroid photos on the beach, this song will make you want to roll down the windows and pretend you’re in a music video.
