Review: This fragrance is pretty in pink

Grande re-launches perfume

In August, Ariana Grande released her new fragrance, Cloud Pink, and I knew I had to get my hands on it.

The perfume was sold out at my local Ulta store, so I ordered it from their website without any hesitation, despite the dreaded two week expected delivery notices.

To my surprise the perfume was delivered within days and arrived in one piece.

From the moment I opened the cardboard box I was impressed. The packaging was stunning. It had a pink iridescent box with a beautiful portrait of Grande on the back.

I carefully removed the perfume out of the box and noticed it was identical to the original cloud. The perfume itself is placed in a plastic base shaped as a cloud, which I find quite bulky and in- accessible. Thankfully, the perfume can be removed from the base which reveals its minimalistic and sleek appearance.

Grande’s Cloud Eau De Parfum has been my signature scent for the past three years. It provides a light scent that attracts compliments from all ages.

While Cloud Pink is similar to the original Cloud, it has notes of vanilla and musk creating the perfect fragrance for any occasion. I would describe Cloud Pink as a mix of the original cloud along with hints of cotton candy. Cloud Pink has additional notes of coconut and dragon fruit, which gives a sweet fruity scent that is not overwhelming. Cloud Pink is priced at a reasonable $68 for 3.4 oz, but if you’re looking for a cheaper option there is also a 1 oz version for $48. The captivating scent lasts all day and is the per- fect accessory one could wear.

If you are looking for your next fragrant perfume that will turn heads from simply walking by a room, this perfume is the one for you.
